Hello, I am Xavier Cheung, currently a second year University of Melbourne student from Hong Kong. I have studied IBDP and graduated in 2021 before I came to Melbourne to pursue my university studies. In my IB years I studied Chinese A SL, English B HL, geography SL, mathematics AA SL, biology and chemistry HL. During university years I will be working towards marine biology and a career related to it, so biology and chemistry would be my main focus. Furthermore, I have also achieved great result in my mathematics and geography studies so I can also provide insights on those subjects as well. I have achieved a total score of 41 in my IB studies and 83/100 in my university studies across all subjects.

Before I came to Melbourne, I was tutoring 2 students in Hong Kong, one in person and one online, so I am familiar with both tutoring methods, and feedback was given to me from the students that they both have performed better academically and are looking forward towards my tutoring sessions. During the tutorial I would also try to make learning less boring and different from school, which I believe to be one of the reasons of unsatisfying academic performances.
