Hi! My name is Trevor. While I love spending my time on bed binging shows on Netflix and listening to Taylor Swift, I also enjoy going outside to play basketball. I have also started playing chess recently as I love how it constantly challenges my brain to think of the best move in each position.

I grew up in Hong Kong and graduated in 2021 from Diocesan Boys’ School, which is the No. 2 ranked IB school globally. Schools in Asia are known for a hyper-competitive academic culture and I was surrounded by peers who spent a lot of time memorizing textbooks and past paper mark schemes. As a person with terrible memory, I succeeded in the program by having a deep understanding of the materials so that I was able to apply different concepts in the exams comfortably.

Economics has long been my favourite subject in school. I have a clear grasp of the content in the syllabus and I can teach you the exam skills necessary to target what the markers are looking for in your answer. I am also confident in breaking down complicated economic concepts in ways easy to digest.
