Hi! I'm Sophie and I'm a Bachelor of Arts student at the University of Melbourne double majoring in Economics and Politics and International Studies. My favourite artists are Taylor Swift and NIKI, and in my free time I enjoy cooking, oil painting, reading, and watching my favourite shows—New Girl and Modern Family! I also love spending my time walking around Melbourne CBD and trying unique food. Before pursuing my double major, my dream was to attend art school in New York City and in the future I hope to get an MBA or JD and to work at the World Bank.

I took the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Indonesia and graduated in 2022. My favourite subjects were HL English Language and Literature, HL Economics, and HL History (Europe). I also earned an A for my Extended Essay in English LL on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Purple Hibiscus. I have been through the struggles of the IBDP and understand how mentally draining it can be going through such a daunting program. My aim is to be a helping hand for students and to hopefully make the program more less stressful for them.

I am friendly and approachable, and am willing to help with any questions or concerns regarding the program, managing their coursework, the HL English Language and Literature, HL Economics, and HL History (Europe) subjects, EE in English LL, exams, and core subjects.

Classes will be conducted privately, but I am willing to tutor groups of 2 if that's what the students are more comfortable with. My preferred locations are the University of Melbourne or the State Library, or even online, but I'm willing to travel anywhere within 1 hour from the CBD.
