Hi there! I’m Sarah. I’m passionate about getting outside and getting active, my dog, watching bad rom-coms, live music and wasting my future housing deposit on smashed avo brunches.

Aside from that, I’m all about writing, thinking and throwing around ideas. This meant that my VCE was filled with English and Humanities subjects. It also means my uni life is much the same. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Arts at Melbourne University, double majoring in History and Politics (i.e; writing lots of essays). After graduating, I would love to do some research, or potentially later become a VCE teacher.

I didn’t like maths and science formulas, but I love creating easy writing formulas and strategies that work. To me, writing essays is just a way to organise and express the brilliant but jumbled pile of ideas in your head. I’m passionate about taking the mystery out of how to do VCE English and Humanities subjects and clearing up all the confusion.

I’m located in Berwick, but can meet at the State Library or Melbourne University on most weekdays. Individuals or groups are both fine.

Sarah graduated in 2017 as Vice Captain of Haileybury Girls College with a perfect 50 score in English. In her time at school she amassed an impressive list of accolades, receieving a Premier's Award for English, and her school subject prizes for Australian History and Global Politics. She is currently studying the Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne, majoring in History and Politics. Sarah finds that she is inspired by teaching and dedicated to the humanities. She hopes to use these qualities to pursue a career in research and teaching so that she may one day give back to the community that nurtured her passion.
