Hi! I am Raihanah, a Bachelor of Biomedicine student at The University of Melbourne. I plan to partake in biomedical research and subsequently enrol in medical school with a career aspiration of becoming a neurosurgeon. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano, reading and training to improve my Taekwondo skills.

I graduated from Glenunga International High School in 2020 through the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program, earning 44/45 IB points (ATAR of ~99.75) from Biology Higher-Level (HL), Chemistry HL, English A Literature HL, French B Standard-Level (SL), Mathematics SL and Psychology SL. My passion in imparting knowledge to others, especially in explaining abstract scientific concepts clearly and interactively, was reinforced after winning the 2020 Oliphant Science Awards Trophy and finalist statuses in the BHP Foundation Science and Engineering Awards & Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair. As a result, I have been tutoring since early 2021, hence leading to my tutoring students’ excellent academic improvement and satisfaction.

Lessons are either carried out in groups/one-on-one, and I can provide online/in-person tutoring conducted at The University of Melbourne or in public libraries and similar locations in Albert Park, Docklands, Parkville, South Melbourne, Southbank and within 5km of the Melbourne CBD.
