Hi! My name is Peshala, but everyone just calls me Pesh. Having finished the VCE grind myself, I’m looking forward to making your VCE experiences as stress free and engaging as possible! During school I loved being involved in debating, soccer and reading, as well as watching a ton of sports, such as the NBA, NFL and the Premier League (Manchester United now and forever!).

Throughout my schooling, I've always responded best to teachers who were not only kind, but made an active effort to be open and empathetic to the needs of individuals. Due to this, these are all traits I strive to exhibit myself as a tutor. I love chatting and interacting with others, and always work to address the concerns and desires of the people I’m mentoring.

As a tutor, I aim to recognise the best strategies for improving performance and decreasing SAC and exam stress, especially in subjects such as English. I cater all sessions to the assessment schedule of my students, and am willing to be on hand for constant, swift corrections, or to provide feedback that directly addresses the desires of teachers and examiners. Peshala graduated from Melbourne Grammar School in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.70, ranking as his VCE English cohort’s highest scoring student. He excelled during his time at Melbourne Grammar, working as the school’s Vice Captain and being awarded prizes 3 years in a row within the Australian Mathematics Competition. Currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne, Peshala plans to pursue a career in Medical Research in the future.
