Hello! My name is Oscar. Beyond being a nerd at school, I am also a nerd at home! I love Star Wars, Harry Potter, Rick and Morty and the incredible German TV-show Dark, and enjoy lively debates and conversation about these shows!

I currently plan on studying medicine at the University of Melbourne and one day becoming a surgeon – whether or not this is your goal, I feel that we can find common ground and work together to achieve your academic aims. 

Other than being a die-hard and avid academic, I would also like to consider myself somewhat of a sportsman. Throughout Year 11 and 12, I trained and competed in the first division of both rowing and rugby – each demanding well over 14 hours per-week of training. As such, I learned how to make the most of my limited time in my final, crucial years of high school. 

I feel this skill is essential to my identity as a tutor, and I fully intend to pass on this ability, to help you maximise the limited time available to you as a busy high school student. These skills, that allowed me to most effectively manage my time, will undoubtedly contribute to the success you desire to see at school!

Whatever your interests, goals and passions, I feel that we could make an effective team, and help you to achieve your wildest dreams and aspirations for the future!

Oscar graduated from Haileybury College in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 99.95, a perfect score in English and a grade of 96 in the UCAT. He juggled this academic success with leadership roles in rugby and rowing, as well as a position as the school’s Vice Captain, proving his remarkable ability to balance multiple responsibilities. Oscar plans to study Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne, and eventually pursue a career as a surgeon.
