Hey there! I’m Niki, and my interests mainly centre around Star Wars, rugby and eating lots of dumplings. I graduated from Wesley College in 2020 with an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. My IB experience in higher level subjects, as well as my own thorough research, means that I can confidently bring my knowledge to VCE. For example, I have actively familiarised myself with the current VCE Biology coursework. I am studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne during 2021, with a personal interest in dentistry and human anatomy.

During my last year of school I experienced the difficulty of online learning. This showed me the importance of adapting study methods to suit my personal requirements. For tutoring, this is an asset, as I am comfortable tailoring content delivery to suit each student’s needs. With personal experience battling procrastination, I know how hard it can be to wake up feeling motivated to learn every day. I will always aim to bring motivation and useful academic tools to every lesson with my students.

Throughout high school, I actively participated in co-curricular activities. Here, I found a love for debating, excelled in sports, and formed study groups with my peers. My experience in debating taught me to communicate my own knowledge clearly and concisely; skills which I would love to bring to my tutoring sessions.

My favourite subjects have always been Biology, Psychology and Maths, and I would love to share this passion with others. I will use my notes, practice questions, and tests to teach students how to achieve maximum marks within exams, as well as passing on a well-rounded and deep understanding of the content. My preferred tutoring locations are the University of Melbourne in Parkville and the South East suburbs, but I am also happy to tutor online.

Niki graduated from Wesley College in 2020, gaining first-hand tutoring experience by guiding her peers through Biology and Psychology. A motivated and enthusiastic teacher, she enjoys playing rugby in her spare time. Niki currently studies a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, and hopes to become a doctor of Dental Surgery in the future.
