Hi! I’m Maddy and I have always loved learning; learning about history, maths, languages, people, all of it interests me. I love it so much that I am still studying as much as I can and embarking on a double degree in Arts and Engineering at Monash University. Despite my passion, acquiring skills and remembering information has not always come easily to me. Throughout high school, I spent long hours trying to wrap my head around content and I particularly struggled with memorisation. However, I learnt some amazing skills to help me overcome these challenges. I was born in France and lived there until I was eleven, so French language is definitely one of my passions. I also lived in Indonesia and China, so my education has been pretty jumbled up. As a result, I understand the challenges of learning content that everybody else seems to be at ease with. I have developed techniques to tackle these problems and I can’t wait to share them with you.

Madeleine graduated from Lauriston Girls School in 2019 with an impressive array of awards: the Hallenstein Award for French, Academic Distinction for French, Visual Arts, English and Geography, and the Pickford Award for the Arts. She juggled her studies with a role of debating coach. Not one to shy away from hard work, Madeleine is now completing a double degree in Arts and Engineering at Monash University, with hopes to become an engineer in the future.
