Hey there! My name is Lilillian Chiem and I graduated from Haileybury Girls College in 2021. As for the future, I hope to be obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of Melbourne.

Through all of my schooling experiences, I realised that being an excellent teacher/tutor is not just about being able to teach the content, but also about being able to foster a comfortable and welcoming environment for your students. Through my supportive network of teachers and tutors, I felt beyond comfortable asking my high school teachers a million questions (often making them sit through numerous hour-long help sessions). So, it doesn’t matter if we have to go through each and every one of your questions. The aim in the end is to make sure you gain clarity and achieve your goals.

As your tutor, I will do everything I can to make you feel content and empowered in our lessons. I’ve had tutors for multiple subjects throughout high school so I know what it’s like to sit through long and draining lessons (especially online).
Ps. I’m a huge Netflix fanatic (confession- I’m in the middle of binging ‘Manifest’ as I’m writing this) so hopefully we can find some common TV show/movie to obsess over.

With the tips and tricks I’ve learnt, we will work together to tackle any test, SAC or exam coming up.
