Hi! My name is Laura and I graduated from Haileybury with an Atar of 99.90. During my spare time, I enjoy playing volleyball, reading and discovering new films/shows. Having juggled the demands of Vce alongside extracurriculars, I would like to help students similarly thrive in their academic journey.

During Vce, chemistry quickly became one of my favourite subjects, and I have continued to consolidate my knowledge by studying a Bachelor of Science as a chancellor’s scholar at Melbourne Uni. As a tutor, I aim to break down complex concepts and target areas of weakness, to help students master the key knowledge. Aside from focusing on a conceptual understanding, I believe I can maximise individual scores by imparting important exam strategies and deconstructing sac and exam marking schemes, to help students effectively score marks.

I am also keen to help students of all ages and abilities, improve in French. As a recent graduate, I am able to share extensive resources including exam papers, sample A+ essays and my transcript that helped me score 100% on the exam oral. Furthermore, having studied Vce Latin, I gained a greater appreciation of the French language, as well as an in-depth understanding of its grammar and syntax.
