A little bit about me:
Hi everyone! My name is Himaya and I am a second-year Medical student at James Cook University, Townsville QLD. I absolutely love all things health and biology-related, hence why I am offering tutoring for VCE Biology and HHD. My passion for this grows every day and I am super excited for my career as a doctor. I love helping people achieve their full potential in any way I can. Although I am not a doctor just yet to help people achieve this health-wise, I can definitely help you achieve your full potential in VCE Biology and HHD. I spend my free time volunteering for different organisations that range from tutoring students from disadvantaged homes and backgrounds to fundraising to help people in South Asia access basic healthcare. I also love learning to play songs on the piano and violin and have been a member of the school orchestra all throughout high school from years 7-12.

My VCE journey (in #lockdown) :
I graduated from Nossal High School, Berwick in 2021 with a 99.15 ATAR, 50 study score in Bio and 48 in HHD. I accelerated in Biology and Further Maths and completed units 3&4 in year 11 in 2020. My year 12 subjects were English language, Methods, Chemistry and HHD.

This is why I am offering a learning platform that is highly individualised and adaptable to your specific study needs. I also provide carefully structured weekly classes (if you prefer it that way :)
Either way, I will ensure you gain a deep understanding of the content you need to know, strengthen exam writing skills and your ability to formulate high-scoring responses that will get you to 40+ study scores and tackle these subjects with ease. I can show you how to use your time productively, some easy and awesome ways to retain the content and help you discover study techniques that work best for you.
