Hi! I’m Harry Fu and I’m a graduate of the Class of 2021 at Haileybury College. During my VCE years, I studied History Revolutions (Raw 44 Dux), Philosophy, English (Raw 47), Methods, Chemistry and Physics (Raw 42). I believe that anyone can score high grades without being the traditional ‘top’ student, because I was never one myself!

There are only so many top students out there, so my learning approach will start from one that may seem less intimidating. With my guidance, I believe I can offer some perspectives and lens on ways to approach essays and analysis different from most, because I can relate to the struggles and frustrations that come with trying to figure out this enigma that is VCE.

Regardless, I am super interested in movies, a swimmer (retired) and honestly just want to have a good time through a tough year! Moreover, I am Chinese and fluent in Mandarin, so students who feel more comfortable to learn in Chinese I am more than happy to cater to them, as well as a nuanced understanding in students who may feel the pressure to perform well in Year 12.

I am aspiring to study law at Monash, but I’ve also received offers to study law from UK universities at University of Edinburgh, Manchester, and Clare College at the University of Cambridge. As such, I can cater a general guidance/support for students going through Year 12 in conjunction with my support to your learning in English and Revolutions.
