Hi, I’m Hanxiang! Having graduated from Haileybury College in 2018, I am now studying the Bachelor of Science at University of Melbourne, with an interest in computer science. Aside from studying and hanging out with friends, I like to play tennis – I often dream of turning pro, but for now, I am content with weekly hits at my local Tennis club. I like the outdoors so I regularly go for walks in between study. If I’m not playing sports, I like to watch Youtube and cook.

I believe that much learning takes place outside the classroom, so I always make it a priority to balance my study with extracurricular pursuits. Since I identify as a planner and strategist, I sideline with the mantra “study smarter, not harder”. Whilst everyone has different study methods, my goal as a tutor is for my students to understand their strengths and weaknesses. I am a reflective person, so this comes quite naturally. I like to set goals for myself and my students, so that they can feel in control with their learning. Motivation-wise, I have been through the highs and the lows. However, it is the support network I have that sees me through. Hence, it brings me great satisfaction to step alongside my students in helping them achieve their study goals.

Hanxiang graduated from Haileybury College in 2018 with a near-perfect ATAR. She is currently studying Science at the University of Melbourne, and is passionate about nurturing the students of the future. In her spare time, Hanxiang enjoys playing sport, strumming her guitar, cooking, and spending time with friends.
