Hi there! My name is Clarisse and when I’m not busy cramming maths for biomedicine, I’m making jewellery, playing violin, and skateboarding around town.

I am incredibly passionate about the subjects I teach, so my key approach to tutoring is to help you develop interest in your studies, because I find interest key in the development of a strong work ethic. Having further studied Biology in university and completed an exchange in France, I intend to help you broaden your knowledge set so you can see what kind of pathways your subjects can lead you to. However, I also recognise how VCE markers mark, and I will teach accordingly, with emphasis on key words and being concise.

From my lessons you can expect a friendly, approachable teaching style, detailed notes and additional materials to aid in your studies, step by step run throughs of practice questions, feedback on homework, SAC preparation, exam tips, and detailed explanations of marking schemes. I also provide out of class help (via texts or emails).

Overall, I hope I can provide a friendly, healthy learning environment for you, and that I can help support you in this exciting (yet stressful) time of your life!

Clarisse graduated from Mac Robertson Girls’ School in 2019 with an impressive array of scores. She is currently studying Biomedicine at Melbourne University, and plans to work in medical law or genetics. In her spare time, Clarisse plays and teaches violin, makes and sells jewellery, and skateboards.
