VCE: Biology

Need help with Biology? Well, you’ve stumbled across the right profile! Hi, my name is Cindy and I graduated from McKinnon Secondary College in 2021. Since I am a recent high school graduate, I am very familiar with how pedantic VCE examiners are and the keywords they need to see to give students marks. I want to help you avoid making the same mistakes Biology students make year in and year out by imparting the tips and tricks I have picked up on the way, which allowed me to achieve a study score in the top 4% of the state and an ATAR of 97.30. I also received the McKinnon Secondary VCE award for Biology and Economics in 2021! So rest assured that I will be able to thoroughly answer any questions that you may have.

On top of my understanding of Biology, I also have a passion for it. I grew up watching David Attenborough’s breathtaking animal documentaries, the complex ecosystems and beautiful creatures showcased captivated me. It cultivated my love for animals and Biology, which encouraged me to undertake work experience at my local vet clinic. I was lucky enough to be offered a job in their cattery, which was basically hanging out with 15 cats and getting paid for it ( I loved it!) However, in my spare time you can find me reading books or in the backyard playing volleyball.
