Hi! I'm Chelsea and I am a medicinal Chemistry major at the University of Melbourne. I graduated in 2019 studying the International Baccalaureate, and I've been working as a tutor since! I specialise in IB SL/HL Chemistry, as well as SL/HL Biology and I won the top score academic awards for HL Chemistry and Biology at my high school. I am particularly passionate about Chemistry and I will pursue my studies further in postgrad. Ultimately, I wish to work in Industry.

Outside of academics, I am an active dancer. One of my favourite forms of socialising is to work with Flare Dance Ensemble, a club liasing multiple unis in Melbourne. I also enjoy pilates, yoga and learning foreign languages (currently it's French). Something quirky about me is that I am a germaphobe who won't drink from other people's cups.

In the classroom, I like to use Onenote, which functions as an incredible interactive whiteboard, as well as a folder where I can upload notes and sync practice questions to share with students. I am always patient, and I aim to help my students the best I can by being flexible with my style of teaching while also interweaving practice to consolidate understanding. I also offer help in IAs. My preferred method of tutoring would be online, but I also offer classes at local libraries or the State Library.
