Hey, I’m Callum!

In VCE, every hour of study is precious; wasted time only builds stress, and we all have more than enough of that. Success, however, is never a question solved by endless study, but rather through refined and efficient techniques – such techniques which enabled me to study less than twenty hours last year for English. As your tutor, I will provide a system for answering any possible prompt, analysing literary strategies and helping with whatever other difficulties you may have. I am always happy to assist with even the smallest issue, remembering that the most important questions and worries arise right before an assessment.

My ultimate goal is for you to see me less, confident in your own abilities and the studied content. And naturally as your confidence in one subject grows, you can allocate your time elsewhere, and maybe even squeeze some small enjoyment from VCE. My part as your tutor is to make this year somewhat less miserable and more manageable than it would otherwise be, and to see you succeed in every way.

Callum graduated from the Elizabeth Blackburn School of Sciences in 2019 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts/Commerce at Monash University. An avid writer, Callum was a finalist in multiple national short story writing competitions and has even written several editions of his own book. Needless to say, Callum is well on his way to becoming an author.
