Hi there! I’m Archie and I graduated from Geelong Grammar School in 2018, going on to study a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics & Management) alongside a Diploma in Chinese Studies at the University of Melbourne. Having been raised in Shanghai & Hong Kong, I’ve really enjoyed my experiences boarding at both Geelong Grammar School and Trinity College at University and would be willing to help prospective students with their college applications if that is something they are looking to pursue.

I graduated from the IB Diploma Programme, having most enjoyed my studies in Chinese B, English Language & Literature, Economics and Geography. I can’t wait to help you in these fields as well. Over the years at both uni and high school, I’ve adapted a variety of different study skills and styles that can be useful for all students. I would describe my tutoring style as very much tailored to the student, their goals and their preferred methods. Whether that involves creating comprehensive notes packages, working through essay plans or just having challenging discussions about course content, I am fully committed to helping students get where they want to be in the way that they want to do it.

Outside of academics, I’m a massive fan of the AFL (Sydney Swans) and Cricket and really enjoy debating and travelling.

Archie graduated from Geelong Grammar in 2018 with an impressive array of scores. In his last year of school, he won the Margaret Hopper Prize for Geography, the Geelong Grammar Foundation Prize, and the Lascelles Family Prize for English. In his spare time, Archie is an avid debater, AFL supporter, and cricketer. He is now studying a Bachelor of Commerce at Melbourne University and hopes to give back to the student community through his expert tutoring.
