Hi! I’m Ali. 

I love spending time reading books, playing table tennis (my rivalry with my brother is that of Nadal and Federer) and exploring the outdoors through bush walks – even as my allergy to grass cries in protest.

In 2021 I began my university journey with the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine course at Monash. Yet for a long time before that, I was constantly fed the lie that VCE was a game of concession. You’re aiming for a 99 ATAR? No time for socialising. Want to play for a sports club? Get ready to lose your No.1 ranked position. And while COVID tried very hard to make the former happen, I always found the time to continue pursuing my personal goals and interests whilst sustaining a competitive average at school. 

In order to maintain such a study-life balance I had to constantly optimise my learning techniques, making them as efficient and effective as possible. The result is a plethora of unique personal notes, study methods and practical frameworks - techniques that will maximise the fruits of your hard work - all at your disposal. I will teach you how to align your own conception of a ‘perfect answer’ to that of the examiners, making sure that you not only know the content, but can apply it within the context of an exam. 

Above all though, I want to impart onto you the mindset for success, as that is what’ll ultimately provide the basis for your personal achievements – in VCE and beyond.

Ali graduated from Sirius College in 2020 with a school-best ATAR of 99.75, achieving perfect scores in Applied Computing and Further Mathematics. During his time at Sirius, he underwent hands-on tutoring training, running Powerpoint presentations for his peers in Applied Computing after their teacher had to depart, and holding tutoring sessions for Further Maths students. Currently studying Medical Science at Monash University, Ali hopes to become a doctor in the future.
