Hey guys, my name is Ali and I graduated from VCE in 2019. I still vividly remember the torturous late nights of study day before a SAC and the struggle to maintain motivation when all you want to do is nap.

I was extremely blessed throughout my academic journey to have a range of top-class teachers who passed onto me both a strong foundation of knowledge and a deep passion for their subjects. My love for the content I was learning allowed me to do well, and will allow me to help you reach your full potential. However, I also found setting aside time away from VCE to be pivotal in the maintenance of my sanity throughout an undoubtedly difficult final year of school. Hence, as your tutor my aim will be to, alongside building a strong understanding of content, teach you the methods of study which I found most effective, giving you more time to spend doing the things you love.

During my Year 12, I loved both playing and watching footy, rowing, and spending time with friends, outside of the school environment, whenever possible. I also love skiing and travelling, as well as escaping down to the coast to go for a swim in the surf. Year 12 is undeniably an important academic year; however, it is also one of the most exciting and rewarding as you prepare for life after school. The most important thing is to find enjoyment wherever possible, especially in your study as it takes so much of your time, and this is something that I can help you find.

Ali graduated from Loretta Mandeville Hall in 2019 as the Dux of Chemistry and Physical Education. Not one to avoid activity, Ali balanced her academic success with sport and travel. Now studying Biomedical Science at Monash University, Ali hopes to share her extensive knowledge and love for her subjects with other students.
