I graduated from Genazzano FCJ College in 2022, which will always be such a memorable year for me. Despite the challenges of year 12, I found such a rich passion and love for learning and I knew I wanted to share my love of learning with others around me! I enjoyed every single subject I took so much, which I devote my success towards. I studied English, Physical Education, Psychology, Maths Methods, Chemistry and Biology (in 2021). I was so pleased that I was able to obtain two perfect 50 study scores, along with a 99.75 ATAR, which I never even dreamt would be possible for me. However, I want to inspire other students to find a love of learning and growing their minds, and find the confidence to achieve their personal best! I am currently studying a Bachelor of Nutrition Science at Deakin, which I was so lucky and grateful to receive a full academic scholarship for. After this, I plan on undergoing a Master of Dietetics to become a Dietician. It is my dream to integrate my biggest passion; sports, with my career. My goal is to work with world-class athletes to help optimise their nutrition for their athletic performance, such as athletes at the AIS or in the AFL. However, I would also love to be involved with research as sports nutrition is a rapidly expanding field, in which I am so invested, but I believe there is still so much opportunity for growth and new knowledge. I am, myself an athlete. I have been sprinting for over a decade and am representing Victoria at National Championships against the best runners in Australia. Running all throughout VCE allowed me to achieve a harmonious balance between life and study. I was able to adopt effective study techniques to optimise my study time and learnt new organisational skills to ensure I was able to achieve my best both on the track and in SACs/exams. These are all skills I endeavour to share with my students! I believe I am unlike many other tutors, who encourage students to undertake the hardest possible subjects and promote an unhealthy and unbalanced approach to study, inevitably leading to burn-out and animosity, where students often view studying more as a chore, rather than a privilege. I believe that every single student can reach their academic goals, whilst loving learning, and whilst living life to the fullest, as this is where students will thrive both mentally and physically.
